CERAMIC TILE LINERS OR FRAMES: 

These tiles can be used to separate two tile colors or types of wall coverings. They are also typically used to frame one of the large decorative high relief tiles. I will be happy to cut or miter any piece of liner tile prior to glazing. This creates a smother edge as compared to cuts made after glazing. Most of these pieces can be curved slightly to match niches. This is an additional custom service.
Pictured below are most of my liners in a glossy Oak glaze. Their names from left to right are as follows: Thin, Ridged, Half Round, Plain Frame, Two Leaf, Henry's and Acanthus. You will find additional information on each liner listed below.
This is the Egg and Dart Liner (below) which is 2 1/8 x 8 1/4 inches long. This picture also shows a couple of my flat tiles and the irregularities that are typical in all handmade tiles.
 

 

This is the Beaded Liner (below) which is 2 3/4 x 7 inches There is a Left and Right version of this tile. The top one is a Stone Wash glaze: Dark Rosewood and the bottome one is Oak, a gloss glaze.

 
Acanthus Liner and Corner Color is Clear Gray

Then length of one tile is 9 3/8 inches and 3 3/8 inches wide. The thickness at the highest point is 1 1/8 inch. The Acanthus corner is 4 x 4 inches. Please specify its use when ordering. We can smooth and glaze the edge of the tiles if requested.

 
  Henry's Liner and Corner Color is Warm Taupe    
     

Size of tile: 8 ¼ x 1 7/8    Thickness of tile: 1 ¼ inch. The length of one tile is 8 1/4 inches and they are 2 inches wide. The thickness at the highest point is 1 1/4 inch. The Henry's Corner is 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 inches. Please specify its use when ordering. We can smooth and glaze the edge of the tiles if requested.

The widths of these liners are 1/2, 7/8 and 2 1/8. All come in 8 inch lengths, but the Plain Frame Liner also comes in a 10 inch length.
Plain Frame Colors are Oak and Old Terra Red
The Plain Frame liner is 8 inches long, 2 1/8 wide and 1 1/4 high. Shown here with matching 6 x 6 flat tiles. We can provide you with pre cut (mitered) liners for the corners. The advantage to making these cuts before glazing is that the edge is smoother.
   
Column and Column End Color is Light Rosewood

The size of this tile is 8 x 2 1/2  The height is 3/4 inch. Typically used as a vertical accent
